China Girls, The Red Poppy Ladies Percussion, YUN and Shaolin Monks

PREMIERE for the Netherlands and Europe! 'NI HAO CHINA' the 1st big modern Chinese show

After the very successful tour in the Netherlands and Belgium last March, some members of the Shaolin Legend Group will return in the summer of 2006. In the season 2007 - 2008 we try to organise an other tour with this group.

In the new show called "Ni Hao China" (Hello China), they frame the concerts of China's no. 1 Girls Band, The China Girls, the no. 1 Girls percussion group in China, The Red Poppy Ladie's Percussion and YUN.

The China Girls are seven fantastic classical trained girls. They play incredibly swinging pop and folk in their own arrangements, made of well-known Western classical and less well-known traditional Chinese pieces. They composed the Olympic song and are chosen by the Olympic Comitee to represent all the official Olympic events. The Girls play on all Chinese TV stations and perform during openings of almost all big (and in China everything very very big...) events.

The Red Poppy Ladie's Percussion is the first, the bests and well-known Girls percussion group in China. They are just like The China Girls unbelievable popular. In contrast to The China Girls, who exists just two years the Red Poppy’s already made several foreign tours, except in Europe.

YUN韵 (the strength of music) has been inspired by this culture and plays Chinese traditional -, folk - , modern- and pop music. They have songs of 12 Girls Band, the most famous group in China and Japan right now, on their repertoire.
The group counts 5 Chinese women (4 on the photograph), which has lived for some years in the Netherlands. All of them have passed an excellent musical training in China .
YUN 韵 brings the traditional Chinese music to the audience in an understandable and appreciated way. The listeners will get acquainted with a number of beautiful and subtly sounding Chinese instruments and the voice of Lin Su. Chinese dancer Yang Liu presents a number of particular dances from different Chinese regions.
