Company
Why a namechange?
Very simple. Theaterbureau Schmid was no longer enough.
Why international Performing arts?
Also very simple. We want to communicate carefully, rapidly and effectively with all our national - and international theatre partners. Where doing that with our new name and logo and our changed company structure.
What do we do?
International Performing Arts initiates and produces, along with Theaterburo Schmid and Asian Performing Arts, artistically interesting and high-quality theatre productions. We do that in all fields of the podium arts, both for the small and large theatres. Sometimes by our selves and sometimes in association with other producers, company's and theatres. International Performing Arts works as a manager and agent for individual artists and company's in all areas of podium arts. International Performing Arts is part of a larger international link of company's and producers. International Performing Arts develops performances with partners in Europe (like Russia, Hungary, Germany, Turkey) Asia (China and India/Tibet) and North - and south America (New York city and Argentina).
Asian Performing Arts
A department of International Performing Arts that works with Asia and the Middle East. We think that the interesting artistic vision and initiatives in the theatre area of our international theatre partners are very important for new and revealing theatre. In the future you can always count on us for the same artistic quality of our productions.
